FAQs

Below are common questions and concerns we hear from our patients

How do I schedule an appointment?

Please email us to set up an appointment

Please visit Your First Visit for more information on your initial session with Move Easy Physical Therapy

What precautions are you taking for COVID and general health safety?

As a private practice, your health and comfort are always a top priority. While we no longer have formal COVID protocols in place, we continue to maintain a clean and safe environment.

  • We use a HEPA air purifier in the treatment space

  • Our schedule is designed to minimize overlap and allow time for proper cleaning inbetween sessions

  • If you’re feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment

If you have specific concerns or needs, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to accommodate whenever possible.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

In California, clients may go directly to a physical therapist without a doctor’s referral or prescription.

While many insurance companies do require a referral for reimbursement, Move Easy PT is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. However, we’re happy to provide a superbill with physical therapy codes upon request if you’d like to submit it to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Can my visit be covered by my health insurance?

Move Easy Physical Therapy is not a member of any health insurance networks. Please contact your health insurance company to determine your out-of-network coverage for physical therapy.

Treatment under Workers Compensation, Medicare, or Medi-Cal is not covered at Move Easy Physical Therapy.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can be used to cover treatment at Move Easy Physical Therapy. We can provide a detailed receipt with medical codes for your records and for submission to your HSA or FSA upon request.

If I am in an accident, will my car insurance cover physical therapy?

Physical therapy is an important part of your care after a car accident or personal injury. Early treatment can often help decrease trauma and optimize your healing process.

However, at this time, Move Easy PT is not accepting motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases. If you’ve been involved in an accident, we recommend reaching out to your primary care provider.

Is there private pay?
